Chevrolet Confederate Deluze Coupe

Chevrolet was America’s top-selling car for 1932, and the Chevrolet division was GM’s only profitable one in that Depression year. Sometimes called a “Little Cadillac,” due to chromed vent doors in their hoods, various models sold for about $500. Mabel Wynne is pictured with her Confederate Deluxe 5-window coupe in front of the Centerville School near the intersection of present Centerville Rd. and Broadway Blvd.
