Guiberson Diesel

Guiberson Diesel radial aircraft engines, a version of which is viewed by designer Allen Guiberson and a plant worker, were adapted for the Stuart tank. Production began in the Defense Plant Corporation’s Garland plant in 1941, ending less than a year later when Continental Motors assumed control of the operation and converted the radials to gasoline operation.
