Taxi Transfer Service

Taxi Transfer Service, established after WWII by Frank Baker and Duane Holford, carried packages or people from 6 AM iin the morning until midnight. Fares were 25 cents to any destination in town or 75 cents to the closest liquor store near White Rock. Pictured here beside a cab ca. 1950 is Roy Jenkins, one of their drivers.
