The Centerville 'Old Settlers Reunion' in 1945 gave E. W. Groves (L) and Lon Wynne (2nd from L) a chance to remember the good old days. The man at the right was thought to be a preacher, invited to offer a blessing on the meal. Centerville supporters gathered at the Centerville School, a county-run operation, located near the intersection of present Centerville Rd. and Broadway Blvd.
