Smith_Grubb

The Smith & Grubb barn, pictured here ca. 1910, stood on the grounds of Garland’s Fair Park and Training Track. There the partners also traded horses and mules, some of which helped build and maintain county roads before the days of motorized equipment. The facility lay at the NE quadrant of present Ave. D. and Third St.
