Sixth St. extends the original Main St. in the settlement of New Duck Creek. This northward view looked past Garland’s post office at present State St. toward the future Heritage Crossing and the MK&T tracks. Included was the square’s fountain and WWI memorial plaque. The Plaza Theatre’s marquee announced Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell, released in the fall of 1951.
