The Lyric Electric Theatre nestled into the square’s north side. Featured in this photo were a serial, Million Dollar Mystery, and two shorts, The Baggage Smasher and Lola, a drama about resurrecting the dead. Tickets for both silent black and white features, showing in January of 1915, cost 10 cents. Later, the Lyric space hosted a grocery store, then became the easternmost bay of Jones Hardware & Furniture Co.
