Parade Entries

The Garland Jaycees’ Labor Day Parade, snakes northward from its assembly point, crossing the Katy tracks at Fifth St. Auto models date this celebration to ca. 1960, before DART traffic presented any danger. Today’s downtown DART station and arts complex on the East, as well as Fifth Street Crossing on the West lay decades into the future.
